Referrals Officer

The Referrals Officer coordinates development, land-use, forestry, and natural-resource referrals affecting Leq’á:mel First Nation, including matters under the Leq’á:mel–Matsqui Strategic Engagement Agreement. The role reviews forestry activities, assesses impacts on rights and title, and supports First Nations forestry and natural-resource stewardship. This position involves managing referrals, coordinating consultation with governments and proponents, and preparing reports for leadership.
