Movement Innovation Collaborative
The Regional Ecosystems Program Director at MIC will develop frameworks and coordinate models to strengthen regional organizations and ecosystems in California, promoting strategic alignment and collective action across movement infrastructure. The role involves designing tools, supporting regional roundtables, and overseeing assessments to enhance regional powerbuilding efforts.
Movement Innovation Collaborative is a California-based, organizer-led nonprofit dedicated to amplifying and accelerating power building across the state, with a focus on racial justice and communities of color. They work to seed interconnected, intergenerational networks of movements through five core strategies: movement strategy and innovation, intergenerational leadership development, a statewide resource hub, healing justice and sustainable work culture, and a distributed network of regional innovation centers. Seeded by The California Endowment's Social Bond and shaped by over 500 community members, their goal is to build a first-of-its-scale statewide infrastructure that strengthens and scales California's power building ecosystem.
