Movement Innovation Collaborative
The Regional Ecosystems Program Director leads the design, implementation, and refinement of frameworks, tools, and models to strengthen regional power‑building ecosystems across California. Working cross‑functionally with grassroots organizations, MIC teams, and strategic partners, the role supports the development of durable regional formations, conducts assessments, and facilitates learning to enhance collective strategy and long‑term resilience.
Movement Innovation Collaborative is a California-based, organizer-led nonprofit dedicated to amplifying and accelerating power building across the state, with a focus on racial justice and communities of color. They work to seed interconnected, intergenerational networks of movements through five core strategies: movement strategy and innovation, intergenerational leadership development, a statewide resource hub, healing justice and sustainable work culture, and a distributed network of regional innovation centers. Seeded by The California Endowment's Social Bond and shaped by over 500 community members, their goal is to build a first-of-its-scale statewide infrastructure that strengthens and scales California's power building ecosystem.
