About this role

This role supports the Engineering Manager/Director in developing engineering plans for fiber and HFC network projects, including route definition, staking, and the creation of CAD drawings and permits. The incumbent provides advanced technical guidance and hands-on assistance for systems build, maintenance, and head-end operations while ensuring compliance with FCC regulations and company standards. Mentoring regional engineers and capital project management are key components of this position within the engineering division.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engineering plans for fiber and HFC projects
Define routes and perform staking for aerial and underground construction
Prepare staking sheets, CAD drawings, and required construction permits
Provide advanced technical guidance on system build and maintenance efforts
Monitor system CMTS utilization and performance against established expectations

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
