Registered Court Interpreter

Under supervision, this role performs a wide variety of language interpretation activities on an assigned and as-needed basis for the California Superior Trial Courts and persons doing business with the courts. The position involves interpreting from and into English and Mixteco using simultaneous and consecutive modes, making sight translations of documents, and interpreting court procedures for non-English-speaking persons. The interpreter also researches legal terminology, completes daily activity logs, and travels to various court locations as required.
