Research Fellow in Maternity Data Engineering and Informatics

The postholder will lead the design and development of a novel, harmonised data model and research-ready maternity database that integrates routinely collected data from maternity and hospital information systems. The role involves conducting original methodological and applied research, supervising PhD students, and acting as the primary interface between clinical and academic researchers, NHS Trust informatics teams, and information governance functions. This position aims to deliver rapid, reproducible real-world evidence to address inequalities in maternity outcomes within the NIHR Maternity Disparities Consortium.
