About this role

As a Senior Staff Storage Engineer at Samsung, you will act as the technical authority for storage infrastructure powering Electronic Design Automation and High-Performance Computing environments. You will own the architecture and scalability of petabyte-scale NetApp ONTAP and Linux-based storage systems, partnering with engineering teams to ensure resilient infrastructure. The role involves leading multi-year roadmaps, architecting replication topologies, and driving automation for critical large-scale compute clients.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-year architecture and scalability roadmaps for enterprise storage platforms
Architect and deploy petabyte-scale storage environments supporting EDA and HPC workloads
Optimize Linux NFS performance and resolve complex operational issues across distributed systems
Develop automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, and ONTAP REST APIs
Mentor engineers and drive root-cause analysis for critical infrastructure incidents
