Senior/Staff Software Engineer - Simulation Motion Planning

This role focuses on building realistic simulated road users—such as cars, pedestrians, and cyclists—to validate Zoox’s autonomous driving stack. The position is central to improving the fidelity of Zoox’s simulation environment so it accurately reflects complex, real-world urban traffic behaviors. The engineer will advance state-of-the-art traffic and behavior modeling to support safety validation and performance analysis of autonomous vehicles. The work directly supports Zoox’s mission of deploying a fully autonomous vehicle fleet in urban environments.
