About this role

The Software Engineer – Lunar Rover Communications at Starpath is responsible for developing the software infrastructure that facilitates communication between Earth-based ground stations and lunar rovers. This role includes designing the telemetry system for rover data transmission and implementing a teleoperation interface for human control, ensuring compatibility with high-latency video streams. The engineer will collaborate with the Autonomy and Avionics teams to ensure seamless transitions between teleoperated and autonomous operations, requiring strong skills in programming (Python/C++), network software, and video streaming technologies.
