Sr Site Reliability Engineer

This role is an incident command position within PayPal’s reliability organization, responsible for directing application and infrastructure teams during high-severity incidents and authorizing critical actions like rollbacks and regional failovers. The commander must rapidly interpret Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes manifests, and CI/CD configurations to make informed decisions under pressure and interface with executive leadership during incidents and post-mortems. The role also drives implementation of tooling and operational improvements to advance the Command Center’s capabilities.
