This key role focuses on strengthening Axcelis' working relationships with customers' research and development organizations while increasing understanding of emerging integrated circuit fabrication challenges. The position involves identifying and developing unique implant solutions to address customers' emerging transistor fabrication challenges. It requires providing leadership and direction for customer process and device roadmaps, managing technical engagement programs, and influencing customer technical choices. The role demands expertise in semiconductor device physics, process integration, and technical marketing to drive business strategy and competitive positioning.
