About this role

The Student Success Coordinator supports student retention, persistence, and graduation rates by providing academic advising and early intervention for incoming and returning students in UC Online programs. This role involves coordinating retention initiatives, communicating with faculty and staff regarding student concerns, and delivering student success skills workshops. The coordinator also monitors academic progress, maintains data on at-risk students, and disseminates support materials to facilitate student engagement from enrollment to graduation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate new student orientation programs for online students
Establish plans to address negative attrition and retention patterns
Prepare and present retention updates and reports
Maintain data and contact students in jeopardy of withdrawing
Provide individual and group student success skills sessions
