Student Success Counselor

The Student Success Counselor provides comprehensive, relationship-based student support through academic advising, success coaching, mentoring, and navigation within the SUCCESS Initiative at HCC. The role focuses on fostering academic achievement, leadership development, and a sense of belonging for African American/Black, Latino/x, Asian, and Native American men, while remaining accessible to all eligible students. The counselor works with an assigned caseload to support student engagement, academic progress, persistence, retention, completion, transfer, and post-completion success.
