Adult Mental Health & Substance Use Primary Therapist

The Primary Therapist provides evidence-informed care in a Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient (PHP/IOP) program, primarily serving adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. The role focuses on developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, tailoring substance use goals (harm reduction to abstinence), and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams and external providers. The clinician works in a state-of-the-art Oak Brook facility and supports patients through intake, ongoing therapy, family involvement, and transitions of care. The position is part of Compass Health Center’s crisis-level behavioral health services that bridge outpatient and inpatient care.
