Collections Specialist

This role is responsible for initiating collection activity and managing delinquent loan accounts, NSF checks, and overdrawn share accounts to prevent losses to the credit union. The position involves maintaining working knowledge of credit union products, processing various financial transactions, and handling repossessions and sales. Additionally, the employee investigates fraud, prepares accounts for legal proceedings, and provides budget counseling to members as needed.
