About this role

Fleetio is seeking a Director to lead the Leverage Engineering Pod, a division dedicated to multiplying the delivery capacity of the entire Product and Engineering organization. This role involves managing three distinct squads focused on shared frameworks, developer experience modernization, and solutions engineering to accelerate roadmap commitments. The leader will define strategy, manage agency partners, oversee budgets, and drive the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic development methodologies across the company.

Responsibilities

Lead and strategize the Leverage Engineering Pod across three specialized squads
Manage agency partners and oversee statements of work for external delivery
Drive the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic development methodologies
Hire, develop, and retain engineering managers and senior individual contributors
Own the Pod's budget and ensure measurable throughput improvements
