Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority
The Operator II is responsible for operating the San Marcos Water Treatment Plant, groundwater system, and treated water delivery systems to produce potable water from surface and groundwater sources. The role ensures all water delivered meets or exceeds Texas Commission on Environmental Quality standards through equipment operation, water quality monitoring, and process adjustments. This position requires working rotating 12-hour shifts and maintaining plant security and safety protocols.
GBRA’s main functions are providing utility services and operations to communities and customers throughout the Guadalupe River Basin for the benefit of the environment and people.
