The Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) is the nationwide membership organization for state financial regulators from all 50 U.S. states and U.S. territories. CSBS supports state banking supervisors through policy development, research, training, advocacy, and supervisory tools aimed at promoting safe, sound, and consumer‑focused financial regulation. The organization coordinates state positions on federal issues, develops model regulations and best practices, and provides data and technology resources to strengthen state‑based oversight. CSBS also convenes regulators, industry, and stakeholders through conferences and programs to address emerging risks in the financial system.
