About this role
The Preconstruction Coordinator is responsible for analyzing project plans, designs, and specifications to develop accurate electrical construction estimates. The role includes identifying project resources, preparing detailed cost estimates, and obtaining competitive bids from vendors and subcontractors. This position supports client proposal development and assists with contract negotiations to produce competitive bids. During periods of lighter estimating workload, the coordinator also supports project managers by estimating change orders.
