About this role

An Astera Labs Firmware Product Application Engineer will bridge firmware engineering and customer-facing technical engagement to enable Leo CXL Smart Memory Controllers for hyperscale clients. This role involves firmware bring-up, validation, and issue resolution alongside providing technical guidance for server memory subsystems from early silicon through production ramp.

Responsibilities

Assist with firmware bring-up and validation for customer platforms
Develop and debug firmware for PCIe/CXL and DDR memory subsystems
Optimize server memory interface performance and timing parameters
Create technical documentation and diagnostic tooling for validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver firmware releases
