About this role

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will join the global Platform SRE team to build, operate, and scale Kong's multi-region SaaS platform. You will design and automate production systems across AWS, GCP, and Azure, focusing on Kubernetes clusters, service mesh architectures, and high-performance data layers. This hands-on role requires managing CI/CD pipelines, enhancing observability, and collaborating with development and security teams to ensure system reliability and security.

Responsibilities

Operate and scale global SaaS platform across multiple cloud regions
Build and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
Design and optimize multi-region data and caching layers for high availability
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
Enhance observability and incident response readiness through monitoring systems
