About this role

An Unreal Engine Technical Artist at 42dot is responsible for solving technical challenges within a real-time engine environment and establishing a strong technical foundation for the product vision. This role involves designing and implementing Material, Shader, and Blueprint systems, optimizing graphics for embedded systems, and collaborating with artists to ensure high-quality visuals and performance standards in IVI environments. Additionally, the Technical Artist will automate production pipelines and conduct performance tuning considering GPU, memory, and resolution constraints in automotive applications.

5+ years of experience as a Technical Artist or in real-time graphic developmentProficiency in Unreal Engine-based Blueprint, Material Graph, NiagaraExperience in vehicle lighting, animation, and material system constructionExperience in engine optimization including LOD, Nanite, Shader Complexity, Light CostUnderstanding of rendering structures and characteristics of Embedded platforms such as AAOS, iOS, Android
