About this role

The General Counsel will lead UpGuard’s global in-house legal function for its pre-IPO cybersecurity SaaS business. Reporting to the COO, this role provides enterprise-wide legal leadership and counsel across all areas of the company. The GC will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support growth while managing legal and regulatory risk. The position is fully remote within specific U.S. states and sits at the intersection of legal, technology, and business strategy.
